What did you learn today?
We learned how to create an animated story using Alice programming. We also learned how to work together on our project. First, we brainstormed ideas and used index cards to write a storyboard. Then, we took turns at the computer doing the programming. The tutorials that we did during the first part of the class were very helpful. Finally, we learned not to make the story too complicated because our time is limited. We are very determined to have a completed story by tomorrow.

What questions do you have concerning Alice programming?
We had to ask Ms. Caudill about a problem we had with our objects. They were shrinking! She gave us a strategy to use to fix the problem. We would also like to find out how to change the background in one story.

What is your plan for tomorrow?
We plan to complete our story "The Alien Take Over".

Final Reflection:
1. What would you do differently the next time you create a program on Alice?
I would make a different world, however, I would still make something that is humorous. I would experiment more with camera angles.

2. How do you plan on using Alice when you return in the fall?
The STLs will teach their classmates how to use the program. We will use the slow-and-steady hands-on approach by using the PowerPoints provided by Duke. Also, we will show the students our work and tell them how we learned Alice at STLP Camp.

3. What kind of support will you need from CES?
CES or Telecom will need to install the program on all of the desktops in the computer lab. If they can push this remotely overnight it would be best. Thanks:)
